Well, it had to happen one day, after rebuilding one of these engines whose big end had failed by fitting a whole new crank, while another owner sold his machine for breaking, I finally had the chance to replace a conrod and big end and rebuild a crank. It came together quite well, I reckon.

An old problem with big singles. But BMW found a way to cure the problem with the gs 650, many run to over 80,000.The old brits had the same issue when they start knocking at your door you know you got trouble.
