Here is news regarding the 2021 Milan Motorcycle show. I note that both BMW, KTM and even Ducati are not attending. But Royal Enfield and Zero will be there, so it is not the distance to the show that is keeping some of the major brands away: https://www.motorcycle.com/events/eicma-2021-milan-motorcycle-show-coverage
2018 16.6 kWh Zero S, 2009 BMW F650GS, 2020 KTM Duke 390, 2002 Yamaha FZ1

Thanks for posting, those Guzzis look sweet!  :)

How about that 2022 Honda ADV350 scooter? What were they possibly thinking? An answer to a question nobody asked? A 30 MPH high side on a jeep road is really gonna hurt the resale... :o

There is still some talk in the internet media that the new 650 cruiser bike that has been seen on Indian roads, and photographed, will be shown at EICMA.

But, RE has revealed an even more radical CONCEPT bike that apparently will be shown:

Looks to me like what is being called a "roadster" styling nowadays.

Seems as though Bobber style bikes must still be selling well enough for Royal Enfield to roll one out. Interesting look proportionally, highly condensed fat elements from tires to tank. If it does make it to production I would be interested in how fast they move off the showroom floor.

Of all the bikes in the first post's roll out, the Yamaha Tenere 700 Raid does it for me, I've liked Ten 7's since last years release, Nice middle weight adventure bike with an impressive motor and not burdened with a lot of electronic nanny devices. The Rally Raid version has a lot going for it but I would be more than content with a plain Jane model.

The "Adventure" scooter? Is that what that means?
Only if your adventure has a paved strip to ride on.
Notice how the rider is in the perfect "Desert Racer" stance.
Its hard to imagine a room full of suits O.K'd that. Crazy. I rename it RMA350

" Notice how the rider is in the perfect "Desert Racer" stance. " Ahhh, yesss - the "Easy Rider" or "Gynecological" posture - Optimizing the spine's shock absorption capacity...the head providing a useful inertial counterweight to the oscillating system.

Yeah - no. I heartily concur - it's amazing to me that the machine made it to production. I dunno too many US scooter riders that anticipate a pleasant day of cow trailing. But there will be a lot of 14 year olds seeing just how much air you can get on Dad's new ride. Maybe they will be popular here in places with lots of bad pavement? At 410 pounds, a +31" seat height and carrying barely 3 gallons of fuel, I don't see the appeal. But again, WE are no longer the real market - the article touts great sales popularity amongst the youth in Europe. Virtually all control functions are electronically controlled & monitored. I think it's bad enough that we need to rely on "Power Boxes" for voltage regulation on our Pre-Units!  :o

You may not be aware that the X-ADV is Honda’s best-selling motorcycle in Europe this year. Honda certainly knows, and that has resulted in the 2022 Honda ADV350 adventure scooter. America doesn’t get the X-ADV, though we do have the ADV150. Now, there’s something in-between, and we’re hoping the ADV350, and the X-ADV, can be delivered to our shores soon. In the meantime, let’s check out the ADV350 and what it has to offer the world of adventure riding.

With a fuel tank over three gallons and fuel consumption at 69 mpg, you may get as much as 200 miles between fill-ups.
The 15-/14-inch wheel combination sports off-road-ready rubber. We’re not sure of the brand of tires, however.

Ground clearance is 5.7 inches, so you’ll want to stick to improved dirt roads.

Disc brakes are found on each wheel. Two-channel ABS is standard.

Touring riders will appreciate the four-position windscreen that has an adjustment range of over five inches.
Two full-face helmets can fit in the storage space under the seat. Total underseat storage capacity is 48 liters. For additional cargo-carrying capacity, a Smart Topbox variant is available. The Smart Topbox unlocks automatically with the ADV350’s Smart Key.

The LCD dash interfaces with your smartphone and has voice control capabilities.

A USB Type-C plug in the glovebox quickly charges compatible smartphones.

DIMENSIONS and CAPACITIES
Wheelbase: 59.8 inches
Rake: 26.5 degrees
Trail: 3.5 inches
Seat height: 31.3 inches
Ground clearance: 5.7 inches
Fuel capacity: 3.1 gallons
Estimated fuel consumption: 69 mpg
Curb weight: 410 pounds

Apparently THIS is the real bullet we've dodged:

2021 Honda X-ADV First Look: Motorcycle/Scooter ADV Hybrid
The (ADV-X) powerplant is based on the Honda NC750X engine, which we are familiar with. The parallel-twin forward-canted motor gets a four-horsepower boost for 2021, along with a redline that is 600 rpm higher. The gear ratios are reworked to match the additional power production, and the DCT has been updated. With ride-by-wire technology, the 2021 Honda X-ADV has power modes that include adjustable engine compression braking. Honda has updated the frame, with the overall weight on the new X-ADV dropping over six pounds to 520 pounds at the curb with the 3.5-gallon fuel tank filled.
