But, RE has revealed an even more radical CONCEPT bike that apparently will be shown:

Seems as though Bobber style bikes must still be selling well enough for Royal Enfield to roll one out. Interesting look proportionally, highly condensed fat elements from tires to tank. If it does make it to production I would be interested in how fast they move off the showroom floor.

Of all the bikes in the first post's roll out, the Yamaha Tenere 700 Raid does it for me, I've liked Ten 7's since last years release, Nice middle weight adventure bike with an impressive motor and not burdened with a lot of electronic nanny devices. The Rally Raid version has a lot going for it but I would be more than content with a plain Jane model.

Yeah - no. I heartily concur - it's amazing to me that the machine made it to production. I dunno too many US scooter riders that anticipate a pleasant day of cow trailing. But there will be a lot of 14 year olds seeing just how much air you can get on Dad's new ride. Maybe they will be popular here in places with lots of bad pavement? At 410 pounds, a +31" seat height and carrying barely 3 gallons of fuel, I don't see the appeal. But again, WE are no longer the real market - the article touts great sales popularity amongst the youth in Europe. Virtually all control functions are electronically controlled & monitored. I think it's bad enough that we need to rely on "Power Boxes" for voltage regulation on our Pre-Units!

2021 Honda X-ADV First Look: Motorcycle/Scooter ADV Hybrid
The (ADV-X) powerplant is based on the Honda NC750X engine, which we are familiar with. The parallel-twin forward-canted motor gets a four-horsepower boost for 2021, along with a redline that is 600 rpm higher. The gear ratios are reworked to match the additional power production, and the DCT has been updated. With ride-by-wire technology, the 2021 Honda X-ADV has power modes that include adjustable engine compression braking. Honda has updated the frame, with the overall weight on the new X-ADV dropping over six pounds to 520 pounds at the curb with the 3.5-gallon fuel tank filled.
