I fitted mine and a BMC filter at the same time.
My impression upon riding it was that it felt 'more willing'. Not more powerful or faster, just that it was happier.

  Well only 4 months later …..
The warmer weather is here and I’ve eventually taxed the bike….
Overwinter I have started the bike on several occasions, allowing it to tick-over for a prolonged period. Letting the bike get up to or about operating temperature.

I took the bike for a good run, it took longer than I liked to start, the enrichment lever didn’t appear to help.

I know the bike is fitted with a free breathing air filter, it appears to respond quicker….and quite happily burble along at 60~65MPH no problem……1700 miles on the clock…just “freer” and turning a lovely colour….

Well just an update 👍
Brilliant, a nice burble sound…I’m absolutely positive the bike revs freer and goes up to 5k no problem and so free…just love it…highly recommend…..and remember…..lighter🤪
