70 mile morning loop ride past the West side of Pine Flat Lake. Wildflowers were out in force!
A trifecta of Pre-Unit Bullets: a Red Deluxe 500, a Green Standard 500, and a Black ES 350.

Looks like a beautiful ride on a handsome bike. If I wasn’t 760 miles away I’d ride along. Thanks for posting the photos.

That's some gorgeousity right there. And isn't there something about that plain old "Enfield" on the tank that's just somehow stirring?

There also seems to be a bunch of well-reviewed campsites around the lake. I do believe I could make do with that spot 1 here: https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/233314
So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.

I ride weekdays when the "fun-seekers" are working, one of the many perks of retirement. 0900 to 1500 the road is practically empty. Lots of 3rd gear twisties, every corner holds a surprise. Unbelievable fragrance to the air right now, pine, wild flowers, warm grasses. Drifting along at Bullet speed is Nirvana.

That new barrel & piston works a treat, MPG picked up to the 70's. The "PART No. 91007, SILENCER, WITH LONG INLET, 1.75'' adds a horse or two so 4th gear now pulls my tonnage easily at 55-60 on the flat bits, mid-range is a bit roartier too. I'm looking forward to my new flat saddle " PART No. 200078, DUAL SEAT, WHITE PIPING", the pocket on the OEM is getting tiresome. Can't wait to slide back on the saddle without sitting on a lump. Get the comfort sorted & then look at longer excursions, Krasny Oktyabr seems up for it.
