Yep !   Agreed.   I realized i should physically measure fitment .   I just went out wih my calipers.  It seems the front would fit if i worked the metal where it indents to provide fork clearance.   I am sure there is enough room on each side for tire and fork clearance. I just wanted the extra traction for sometime hard pack dirt or gravel trails.  Nothing drastic.  I am not sure i am willing to go through the fuss just yet.  This issue is put to rest in my mind for the time being.   I will wait until i need new tires then address it once again.  I may just buy the tires and set them aside for now.
