I have a new meter 350 here in Indiana USA anyone know when we can get a workshop manual or all of the technical information we need my dealer will not supply it to me he says he can’t even get it unless he goes into his computer I’ve always worked on all of 30 + motorcycles don’t allow others to work on them for me I like to understand everything about my motorcycle engine schematics everything
HELP when we get this information
https://www.royalenfield.com/uk/en/support/owners-manual/Yes, that's the owners manual - the one that come with the bike - not a workshop manual.
Set a email to Haynes asking them if they had any plans for a future service manual for the new Meteor 350 with the new J series engine.
Replied. Not on their list for the future.
Since you have some initiative in this quest, maybe you could contact Clymer too, to see if they have one in the works? Actually, a consensus of the service manuals available for the Honda ST1100 has shown that Haynes ranks last, with Clymer in second place and the Honda manual being tops. I suspect this could hold true for all brands.
It took a few years for Haynes to bring one out for the Bullet.
You'd think though, given the rise in R.E popularity, and that they lend themselves well to the home mechanic, that they'd be on it pdq.
Personally it doesn't bother me, I have a brand new bike with three years warranty so I'm covered for the first three years.
After that if I keep it and don't px it, I plan on getting it regularly serviced by a RE dealership so again not my problem.
My only problem then is to decide where to go for a ride ;).
Yes, you ARE covered for three years, should some component fail, as we all are, but you are not covered for all the routine maintenance costs that you see listed in your owner's manual and those services, (shop rate @ $80 - $100.00 per hour), which many of us are capable of doing ourselves, will cost you a bundle over three years and for as long as you own the bike.Yes I hear what you are saying but for me personally a RE dealership doing the servicing will suit me better.
Stories of bungled work done on owner's bikes by dealers abounds on any m/c website you can find, hence, those that are capable like to do it themselves to ensure it is done right, according to the factory service manual in many cases.
Right to repair legislation is being looked at by governments right now, as this corporate money grab, by holding vehicle specifications hostage by the manufacturer and dealers, is an overreach of their authority over the vehicles they sell.
If you are happy to spend hundreds, or thousands of dollars over the course of many years of owning a vehicle, that is your right, but most of us would prefer to save that money for trips and fuel and buying just those parts that we need to keep our bikes in fine working order.
In 26 years of owning a Honda ST1100, I have saved literally tens of thousands of dollars by doing all the work on this bike myself, except for tire changes, thanks to having the factory service manual from Honda.
Can the admins help and get it posted on the site ?
Not likely, as that would violate copyright laws.Still worth asking those who know.
1126 is closer to 1000 than 2000.........
Any screenshots?

Royal Enfield have produced a comprehensive workshop manual for this model, but it is not something they allow dealers to sell in a paper format or even give away as a free of charge download. Of course, this should be made available to owners in one form or another as it is an incredibly useful asset, but ourselves and dealers are restricted by Royal Enfield on this. Hopefully RE may take another stance in the future, so that these manuals can be made easier to access for private owners. Thanks admin that's sound advice :)
The manual sounds like it is in circulation already, and whilst we cannot host this directly on the forum, an easy way for files to be shared would be through something like google drive.
Just to note, and it may not be anything sinister, but please urge on the side of caution when sending across your private e-mail address, and certainly do not entertain making any form of payment for someone to send a copy of these manuals.
Thanks admin that's sound advice :)
I glad that manuel actualy exist . I would be happy to pay for it. Waiting for a more sercure way to purchace it.Now we know that they are out in the wild it's only a matter of time untill they show up somewhere, my betting is on eBay before long.
I have serveral Service Manuals from CYCLEPEDIA they are very detailed and well done. Had a phone conversation with Greg at Cyclepedia , he stated he would love to produce one for the Meteor but has not been able to get any information to do so.
Hopeful Royal Enfield will be more open with this needed information which other manufactures provide . This a very well designed and manufactu;red motorcycle, you would think Royal Enfield would be proud to share this information with us.
I urge xpop to forego his financial considerations for this manual and offer up that PDF to all who need it. Maybe he will consider that once he has his $10 back.
A decent fellow RE enthusiast would offer this to all for FREE, regardless if there was an initial illegal expense involved for him/her to obtain it.
Profits for the sale of this material should only belong to Royal Enfield, as they own the copyright, but since they refuse to offer it for sale to the general public, I would suggest a free online version would possibly make RE and other manufacturers realize that their tactic of withholding technical information will never work and thus discourage this practice from becoming more widespread.
Hear, hear. I would hope that someone having a copy of this manual, eg @usasmartindian or @xpop would provide it without obligation via a google drive link or similar. We are a community of Royal Enfield riders who should (and often do) help each other out with various bits of information, experiences and advice. Sometimes providing, sometimes receiving. That's the way the best forums work.

In theory it’s the same here in Germany. Problem is to get the spare parts needed for maintenance. If you have bought your Meteor from one dealer and go to another for the service, you might have to wait, because he only has parts on stock for his own customers :(You can use a non franchised RE dealer, as long as they use genuine RE parts in the service. Just make sure you keep all the receipts with full service details.
@glencoeman: as I‘ve told before, the problem is not with the dealer but with the spare parts. Oil filters are selling for 25€ each and gaskets have to be ordered from the authorized distributor KSR, which might be a challenge in the actual supply situation. So I will stay with my RE dealer who is 1h away from me.I've been able to find online whatever parts my RE dealer doesn't have. Hitchcock's in the UK is an excellent source; they have RE parts going back to 1939! I've also ordered from an Indian company selling on Ebay; they sell a first service kit that includes the gasket, o-rings, filter, etc. that you need. That was about $50, US.

there is a service manual available on here to down load. it's 1100 pages. I don't remember where I found it. I'll see if I can figure out how to down load off my computer.
If anyone needs paperback workshop/service manual for Meteor 350 or 650 Twins - then reach out to RPC, they can ship it across. They are reachable at info@roadpowercustoms.com
Thanks
