I think the answer is, no. The only reasonable path I see is to cover it with a wider, riveted, custom made emblem.

yea, they do come off.....3M (scotchbright) and a lot of elbow grease.

If you're going to use Scotchbrite why not use a scotchbrite rotary style pad in your drill or as I do in my porting tool. Much faster and easier.

Most likely that is laser etching, you can buff it out with a Scotchbrite wheel or with a stainless polishing wheel (fine). Just go with the grain and you will be fine.

did it by hand,scotchbright wraped around a 1/2" square bit of wood and scrubed away until all trace had gone, took about an hour and a half and two coffee,s for both cans.
