My only concern with the price-point is....it's so close to the 650's, which are so much more bike. Who in their right mind wouldn't pinch pennies for the extra $1,200 to get a INT/CONT 650?
The price difference, even from this dealer, is a bit more than you suggest. On further inspection, I see that this Ebay seller does explicitly state their dealer charges, which are modest compared to what some folks in the forum have been quoted.
For the Meteor base models, AlphaCars' ad lists:
$ 4,399 MSRP*
$ ...350 Destination
$ ...199 Assy & Setup
----------
$ 4,948 Retail Price, 2021 Royal Enfield Meteor Fireball Yellow
For the base Interceptor:
$5,799 MSRP
$ 199 Assembly & Setup
$ 350 Destination Fee
----------
$6,348 Retail Price 2021 Royal Enfield Interceptor INT650 Orange Crush
So, $1400 price difference. But, your point is still quite valid, and I, personally would cough up the extra $$ for the upgrade, except I'd probably go for a Himalayan.
This is, incidentally, a very good price for a new INT650, in my opinion. Seems like most folks buying last summer were quoting out the door prices more in the $6800 - 7K range.
