Title: Will this motor fit an RE frame from the early 2000s

Will the motor from this atrocity fit in a modern RE frame.

In a word, yes.
But you'll probably have to do some work with engine mounting plates, and you'll have to use the gearbox from the twin along with it. The gearboxes for the twins look the same, but the output shaft is longer to suit the wider twin. The gearbox from the Bullet won't work on it.

Interceptor frames show up on E-pay all the time and most don't even get bids. I think you could use an original type twin frame and use the front end & sheet metal off the Madras/Chennai built machines to make life easier.
