Looks like that's an XS 650 motor in that bike.

Yes It is a  XS650. A 1977 "Roadster" motor with the 7 plate clutch. The entire drive train is Yamaha. Good  torque for  a hack. No slippage. Gerry

what type of damper have you put on the rig? looks like a great ride, just remember to do the reverse in leaning the bike when driving with the hack on it. also, check your tow-in. that will help.
