I was finally moved to deep six those ghastly castings that pass for headlamp brackets.   At least they were heavy ::)
The old parts bin coughed up a tidy pair I bought off Amazon some time ago.

The thing I like best about them is that they only cost 12 dollars.  I suppose I could have bought a pair from Motone for about 150........nah.

I would love to do something similar... but I have not taken the time to find something that would work with the factory windshield that I have...
