I bought a GoPro Hero 3 earlier this year to record my rides through Appalachia on my Triumph.  Nice camera!  I've also used it underwater (but not while riding the bike).

I'd love one of those. Is there a cheaper knockoff for us geriatric delinquents on social security?

This is a pretty cool looking little camera.
Look at the videos they show. I don't think it has as many features, but at 100 bucks its cheap and I have several other things from monoprice and I like them all.

The point is that it is featuring a RE as another "extreme" sport.

 ;D Absolutely right.
But there is. I use a small and very cheap camera (was 20 euro) that is sold mostly to mountain bikers and alpiners (ski and snowboard). It can be worn on a cap, not unlike a headlamp or mounted on a crash bar as I do.
It has downsides too, what would you expect? As unprofessional as it is, it is still good fun. Just a mere mortal.  ;)

I haven't had time to watch it yet, but I think this is an extended video featuring the RE in the above-mentioned "demo"...

Amazing clip.

But one of the comments on that YouTube page put me off..it said "What a crappy motorcycle". Damn ignorant people.

JVS - now don't you know better than to read those comments?

I just had a quick glimpse of the comments and it was right there staring at me  :( I don't really get bothered with stuff like that but at that moment I got carried away a bit...'what the hell is wrong with this guy?' in my head.

Anyways..back to the video!  :D The rider has a lot of courage to ride and cut through dense Indian traffic at those speeds (in the heart of the city). The whole clip was enjoyable.

I have to say that was one of GoPros best videos yet.  Very well put together and quite enjoyable.  Though that Monoprice camera looks like it might be worth a $100.

Wow! That's a good one. I've watched a lot of the Himalaya videos (I'm pissed I can't do one of those tours) & that's one of the best. It makes my palms sweat & he has way more balls than I have now. I don't know how I missed this when you first posted it.

How many of those damn cameras does he have? About six? One even dedicated to his odometer.

I would give up the whole trip at that bridge (now) & head back. I'm not sure now I could make myself cross it. I drove over Trail Ridge Road (& many others) in Colorado maybe a dozen times when I was younger. Never bothered me. The last time (in 1989) I drove it I was scared to death & my palms dripped like a leaky gutter.

Thanks Mattsz, the one thing that stood out in that fantastic video were the smiles! :) :) :)

I did the same.  There's plenty of positive comments before and after that one hater, so don't fret...

I still haven't watched the video, though!  ;D   Gonna download it in 1080p and watch it on my big (well, bigger than my laptop) screen...

There are several other options out there.  Here's one...
