Nice to see the separation off the 650 Meteor into its own category, but what is a 'Shogun'?
Surely it should be SHOTGUN.

Shogun has a lot more pizazz than shotgun, the preferred firearm of the Duck Dynasty...sounds more like the RE Marketing Dept. had a faux pas in their original submittal!  ;D  East Asian origins, control of their market segment, an obvious connection...     ::)

Sho·gun; /ˈSHōɡən/
noun
a hereditary commander in chief in feudal Japan. Because of the military power concentrated in his hands and the consequent weakness of the nominal head of state (the mikado or emperor), the shogun was generally the real ruler of the country until feudalism was abolished in 1867.

In clearer terms, the heading is WRONG.
A Royal Enfield SHOGUN does not exist!
All references are to SHOTGUN as are the pictures.
Typo by Admin on the heading needs correction.

Shotgun... I finally had a chance to see and sit on one.  Clearly you can see that RE is upping thier parts game.  They are nicer and it does feel good to sit on. But Its just an interceptor dressed up with some higher end switches  grips levers . The speedo and tripper are nice to look at.  Those engine and rocker cover are sweet

I prefer the old school look of the interceptor. The seat height is very similar.

Certainly it's Shogun - It's all part of Royal Enfields elaborately planned tie-in to the phenomenally successful Hulu FX mini-series...free advertising! Can't wait for the 2025 RE Katana 452, to be closely followed by the RE 350 Wakizashi...real cutting edge technology. Why would you name a motorcycle after a stagecoach scattergun? Westerns went out in the 1960's, chambara is forever... ;D
