Hi All-

Can somebody advise me on the following? Thanks so very much for any help/advice/suggestions...

1. What might be the "best" or "better" brake pads for my GT 650 from the link below. Non-sintered, Semi-sintered, fully sintered?

2. Would it be much of an upgrade to also get the front and rear EBC discs also listed in the same link?

Link is here: https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/motorcycle/royal-enfield/continental-gt/25038037?_page=1

Thanks again for any advice!

Cheers.

I believe EBC HH sintered pads on the stock rotors are a vast improvement.

Thanks for your reply Deathwish. I appreciate it. Yes, I remember reading last year on here about sintered pads being much better. Maybe why I am not getting more replies.  ;D Guess I am just looking for a little "hand-holding" before I make the purchase. I am curious about the EBC discs too, and if anybody here has installed them on our bikes and what they thought of them.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond to my post.

Cheers.

There is also the Brembo Street/Trackday front pads.
These came to our attention via @Couchie

Brembo part no. 07BB03SA

Don't know about current availability but worth the effort.
Got curious and checked. Yup, in stock.

I went with EBC Sintered up front and Semi Sintered in the rear because my foot in a boot isn't as sensitive as my hand for braking. Seems to work well for me!

I'm running Brembo sintered up front, noticed an improvement. Worth the investment. Whether it's Brembo or EBC. As a side note, running in the brembos made the disc look quite dirty. Don't clean it off like me😕. It's part of the resins and helps the disc and pad bed in. It will wear off in time.
I have standard discs and they are holding up fine.

The standard front disc on my '22 Continental says Brembo (not Bybre), not sure about the rear, have to check.

Thanks so very much everybody. Really appreciate all the replies. Will be getting the sintered EBC HH pads for the front and back. Will wait on the new rotors for now.

Cheers.

The stock rotors are fine. When mine wear out I’ll see what’s available, but no reason to swap them out otherwise.

If you want significant better braking, this 4 pot Brembo brake mod is significantly more braking torque, but significantly more money
https://rstech.my-online.store/product/royal-enfield-brake-upgrade

EBC-HH pads are an improvement, but do not expect a night and day change in performance.  Better with a Brembo RCS-15 master cylinder, but brake torque is limited by the stock rotor diameter and calliper piston area.
Higher coefficient pads and a 15mm radial master cylinder is a good middle ground upgrade at a reasonable cost
