Uncle Stew has posted a new video now that he has his hands on a demo Super Meteor 650.

The SM650 has a hazard flasher, something absent from the GT & Interceptor.
I never understood why this function was missing from my GT.
One of my first mods was to swap the left hand switch for one that supported a hazard flasher.

Same here, I don't  know why they axed the flasher on INT, it's  so important.

However, I do love the yellow high beam flash trigger.

I connected my flash switch to a garage door opener.

I was at the Royal Enfield dealership today and had a look at the display Super Meteor and the switches, especially the headlight switch, the turn signals and hazard light switch did not have a smooth transition or a positive feel. On the headlight light switch, when moving the knob from the low beam to the pass position, midway the switch seemed to get stuck briefly and the turn signal switch felt notchy but not in a good way. When I tried the turn signal cancel, it felt like it was getting stuck in between as well and required a little bit more effort to cancel the turn signals. Maybe it would would not be as noticable if one is wearing gloves.
Right next to the Super Meteor was a hunter 350 and the plastic switch feel felt so much smoother, precise and much more positive.
