Not getting rid of my Interceptor. Love that bike.

However, as a lifetime Honda fanatic, I fear 2023 may be the last year I can buy a four cylinder Honda. I consider the Honda four to be as close to perfection as they get.

Your opinion may differ.

My birthday is in September. I think I have to forgo all luxuries and eat top ramen, stop using electricity, and buy one now before its too late. Too late, that is, to buy a brand new one.

Always curious to hear other opinions.

Its not the money, I live in an old people's retirement trailer park, and I only have room for 2 bikes!

Damn straight. As me dear 'ol brudder sez "If you can't shoot your shotgun & pee off of your back porch, you're living too close to town!"  ;D ;D ;D

Rural Arizona areas are often zoned for a mandatory minimum of 2.6 dead cars per acre with a minimum of 1.3 boats of some sort in the yard.  ::)  Your 2nd & 3rd & 4th motorcycles will not be an issue. Two 40' Connex's with 20' of shed roof between them and you are well on your way to nirvana. Lockable storage, wind protection, summer shade and a dry spot when it rains.

A driveway flanked by two Teddy Bear Chollas growing out of old toilets and you are part of the freedom minded landed gentry!  ;D A mobile home is still a motor vehicle, so there isn't a big property tax penalty there. My old desert neighbor said the biggest mistake he ever made ($$$) was building a house instead of just rolling in a mobile. One guy doesn't need that much and property taxes go way up.

Seriously, a few acres of desert, some shade & wind protection, that's about all you really need. Rural folks generally leave each other alone. They didn't move out there to be in a crowd. You can tune your motorcycle or test out the new tires without drawing disapproving 3rd party attention.

The main reason I bought the mobile in a retirement park is I was able to sell my 3 bedroom for a profit during the housing bubble. Now I have enough cash to enjoy retirement, and I no longer have to impress the ladies with a nice house.

Another reason not to have more than 2 bikes is I feel bad for not putting enough miles on them. If I had 3, I'm afraid the poor things would feel neglected.

I had a 2018 Honda cb650f. A good bike ,Honda quality but a bit 'buzzy' and I got a bit fed up of the 4 cylibder engine.Changed for a 2020 Suzuki SV650a with great vtwin engine, but couldn't get on with the seat.

Could be a moot point. Although I'm not ready to buy until September, I don't see any available within 200 miles of my home.

I wish there were some kind of alert I could set up when the bike I'm looking for is available.

This didnt age well about you not selling int 650.

Anyway i rode previous 650f and it was amazing bikem corners like crazy, doesnt heat up too much. Feels surprisingly more light than int 650. Fuel mileage is the same ! which is shocking.
