Very happy V7 850 owner here. The bike is a perfect complement to my Interceptor 650, which is a bit more energetic with Öhlins front/rear setup.

The V7 850 has still a lot of traditional Guzzi feel and charisma. Now with 17hp more than the previous V7III 750 it has sigificantly more oomph and reserves for overtaking. Don't expect a sportbike though, in narrow German Black Forest serpertines the scraping footpegs remind you that. So my preferred riding style is relaxed and laidback cruising at low rpm and feel the charm of the still aircooled engine.
Together with the comfortable seat the seat position it's just perfect for longer riding. I'm exactly 6ft, if you are much taller you might consider a test ride though, as the seat height is only 30.7".
The deep rumble engine sound is also nice, but a bit shy. I have ordered a Mistral aftermarket exhaust which should arrive soon.

I love both colours, the blue one is very stylish. I decided for the more classic grey though. You could just beam the bike back into the 80ties and it would feel right there.
Overall much recommended !

Congratulations MA, that 'Grigio Casual' is truly eye-candy, klassisch schlicht und elegant. Like you, I also have a RE INT650 but also a Bonneville T100, and I want to complete the fleet with the V7. Doppelt reisst nicht, dreifach haelt! Unfortunately, our dealer here in Colorado only carries the blue model. BTW, because of Mike Alpha = MA. are you ex-BW?

I wasn't pleased at all with the Moto Guzzi V7.2 I had. Suspension was diabolical and made the bike unbearable to ride.The fuelling at low revs was jerky and unpredictable.The so called Moto Guzzi 'comfort gel' seat the previous owner had fitted was anything but comfortable and hard as a rock.
I couldn't get rid of the bike quick enough !

The blue colour is gorgeous as well, especially in the sun. But it's more stylish than classical, so I decided for the grey one.
No ex-BW, just ex Pilot, therefore the aviation alphabet, and Mike is my first name anyway :-)

I've got the V7 850 and used to have a conti gt650. The Guzzi is next level in terms of build quality and ride quality. My V7 is the perfect other bike to my classic 500. Love them both. My gt650 looked great but felt more toy like and dare I say plastic feeling.
