Hi can someone please explain ,why Bullet crankcases from 1963 onward appear to be the same as 250 Crusader items,are the interchangable .

In 1963 the 350 "New Bullet" came as a unit construction and is -as you said- basicly a bored 250. The classic pre unit Bullet was dropped completely as bigger singles weren't in fashion anymore. So the unit Bullet was built for a short time, until it was dropped as well and only the big twins and smaller singles carried on.

This was only for the UK New Bullets of course, Indian Bullet crankcases continued on in the Redditch pattern, with a partial redesign in the 70's to swap to metric main bearings.
