What I find interesting is that they do it with cargo and a passenger on board. It begs the question "What is that stuff in the sack?" And why is it worth risking your life for on a cheap cruiser?  Its the same feeling I get when I see those covered trucks navigating the death roads in South America .

Probably their Stuff,  which they make a living with? And they've grown up doing it so no biggie. Just another day in the life for them, an outrageous risk to health and safety for risk averse western onlookers.

An interesting Mustie1 video showing a couple of powered bicycles he made.  He's getting them ready for a bike show.

Its great we are exploring different power train options and I admit I would like a Harley livewire (noting I could never spend that kind of money)  But to put it in perspective: When I was a postie delivering mail and riding a Honda 110 for 5 hours a day (and thrashing it hard on and off the throttle) I would use on average $3.30 Australian per day (that was also when petrol prices were higher.
Cheers and beers

Well of course it was cheap. You were in the sweet spot, probably under 20 mph most of the time. Take that 110 up on the highway at 55 and tell me what the mileage is. Add the family and yada yada yada. Its the wind that drags the mileage down. Its why some cars do better than bikes. But your right, under certain circumstances conventional tech works just fine.

Just saw a newish Millyard video detailing his Barber Museum works.
He's presenting some new material as respite from world events.

Here's one with some footage of home built engines not made by Allan Millyard. I love the first one, very impressed how he got some much of the engine working outside of the engine. Even the gearbox is on the outside  ;D. Don't think it'd last too long out on the road though.
