Ordered the correct connector for the harness.  With that it should all be set to read and clear codes.

Also, in preparation for taking the bike on Wednesday to the dealer for the brake recall, removed the bags...

Perfect opportunity to take a photo...

All that I am waiting for now is the POR-15 to dry/cure so that I can screw the Monza cap back on for one last time.   Instructions call for 96 hours... it will only get 60 as I have to ride over to the dealer first thing Wednesday morning...
Ride safe!

That's a fine looking machine.  :D
Loving the old school chrome. In fact loving it so much I bought a "Mr Clean" tank to try on my Interceptor!

Factory seat and cowl.  Got it from a vendor from India via eBay.  It was less than US$140.00 shipped.

Here is the link to the vendor and actual item...

Cool. Do share photos!

That is something I just did not think about when I bought my bike.  I could have gone for the one with the white tank and all black out parts (wheels, etc.) and then just switch the tank for a Mr. Clean like you are doing...

Oh well... such is life in the tropics.

Really nice bike. I love to see people buy a stock bike and turn it into the bike they dream of. I built bikes, truck and cars. Im into all types. The day I got my RE I started cutting on it. Keep up the work and the pics.

At the dealer getting the brake recall done.  Great ride this morning from Orlando to Lakeland... tried to take some back roads to make it a more enjoyable ride.  Will do the same on the ride back.

Bike is almost done...

:) Doing the recall is almost done, lol.  Tech was finishing the rear caliper replacement....

Sorry for the confusion....  we all know that modifying the bikes is never done  ;)

I have to make a 3 hour trip to the nearest dealership to me. Think I going to have to wait on this recall

Wow... for me it was about 70 miles each way... so little less than 3 hours there and back.  And I really needed to get out and ride, so it was all good...

Back home now... this is done!

If you have bottomless pockets and want the black pack look you could always follow the lead of Harris performance with their Nought Tea 2.0 build. They laced "real" Excel rims onto the stock hubs, increasing the rear rim width from 3.5 to 4.25 inch so they could fit super sticky ContiRoadAttack 3 CR tyres (110/80-18 Front, 150/65-18 Rear).

Nah... I am good... plus the only reason my pockets are bottomless is because of the holes in them... Budget ran out about a month ago  :o  :o :-\
