Motor Guzzi used to make good V twins the police used to ride them, mind you have no idear what they are like now, electrickery on wheels same as the rest no doubt.

Moto Guzzi's are pretty much like they always were, reliable, decent performance, easy to maintain and an acquired taste. I'll probably steal the phrase "electrickery" from you. I think it's an apt description.  ;)

Great article though I wish he'd mentioned Doctor John Wittner, who put Guzzi on the map in the US as far as racing, and was to my knowledge, the only American ever hired by an Italian factory as an engineer/race bike designer. Among other things he was largely responsible for developing their four valve motors.
