I bet the Italians were really upset installing "American" handlebars on their Aermacchi H-D export models.

I had a Fiat X1-9 for a brief period. It was pretty clear that the factory boys were less that thrilled with adding on all of the 1970's US spec smog kak. The plumbing & wiring for those were put on "in anger" I would say. Beautiful engine castings though.
