That's very tasty! I was swooning over an m20 last year but the guy wanted 6 grand for it and it was a rusty non runner. Would've made a great rat rod though! One day.....

Wow

Cool and then some!
Wish I had a better picture of this: '48 Indian 250cc I hauled for my brother.

The Beezer's better! It looks like a ZB 350 engine.

I'm not going to lie guys. I've always been into motorcycles, since I was 10 years old, got my 1st dirt bike when I was 13 and I've been wrenching and riding ever since. BUT, I never even HEARD of Royal Enfield until November of last year when I picked up my Trailblazer. Hell, it took me almost 2 weeks just to figure out what exactly I had! And I think that is what really hooked me on these old RE's. They're just so super vintage and most people have never heard of them either. Sure they're not the fastest bikes around. Sure you have to wrench on them every week. BUT... There is a level of "coolness" that is associated with these bikes that you can't get with any other bike manufacturer. Granted, every bike is cool in it's own way, and anything Vintage has it's own charm, but I've become a bit obsessed with these old iron barrel twins. Hell, maybe the next project (after my current "next project") will be a Thumper, who knows. I have a feeling that 10 years from now I'm going to be a bit like ERC and have a whole slew of these bikes in my garage. I don't think that's a bad thing tho..... Until the wife says otherwise. :D

I think I said awhile ago you were going to get hooked. Actually I never hear you complaining that your wife said no. She must be ok. ERC

Not knowing about Royal Enfields is pretty common. It was pretty common even back in the old days.
Most people in the US knew about Harley's, Indian's, Triumphs, Norton's and BSA's but people who knew (know) what a Royal Enfield, Matchless, AJS, Velocette or Vincent is are hard to find.

Or even Bultacos, Montesas, Ossas, CZs or a lot of other great bikes that I used to ride! Even true of a lot of made in Japan stuff like Bridgestones and Hodakas
