Brought home my brand new 2022 Red Royal Enfield Continental GT.
Swapped the stock seat for the ‘Premium Touring seat with red cowl, i stalled the compact engine guards, then tried and failed(so far) installing the center stand. Can’t find anyplace to hook spring to frame!

Installed my fork brace from @TrianglePete

Looks much nicer than stock, haven't been on a ride yet to gauge the performance difference but i'm sure it will perform just fine.

Past Bikes: Ducati, Kawasaki's, Triumph's  Current: 2020 Royal Enfield INT650 Baker Express

ALSO--- My "Touring" seat came in on the Concorde from India (no idea how they ship so fast via ebay.)  For $120 bucks i figured what the heck i'd give it a try and maybe save myself a sore backside or two before the end of the season.   Worst case if it's not as comfortable as I need I can send out my stock seat for a custom build and not be seatless.  I like the white piping, colored touring tag near the back, and embroidered "RE" symbol on the back of the seat.  It looks to be a little more padded/comfy and certainly decent quality for the money.

I have one of those seats too. Same logic, if I didn't like it send the stock one to get reupholstered. I find the touring seat to be firm but that is a good thing. I would like it to be a little wider for more support but doesn't bother me enough to send the stock one off.

Finally got around to adding the S&S 50-state pipes, along with a Sprint air filter (thanks to whomever that was back on another thread for that recommendation).

After letting the ECU adjust to the new filter and pipes, took it for a quick 10-minute ride around the neighborhood, with speeds ranging from slow to moderate (60 mph). Very happy with midrange but really it's all about the new sound. Now it sounds like it should have when I bought it :)
They certainly look nice!
I’d rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy...

,
I thought along similar lines, although with only bicycle seats to compare, I didn't really have a problem with OEM and bought the new touring seat mainly for looks. Mine arrived a week or two ago and first decent test rides of 150kms on mix of city and country roads proved it's an excellent upgrade worth the money. Dampening and rebound are plush; better than hagons, YSS and Olins together... Okay, I'm exaggerating a little, but as I wasn't expecting much, the new comfort level was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated, especially on crappy roads. No problem after 2+ hours. (Thanks for the heads up, Phil... perhaps, in another thread)

Not today, But a few days ago. Deleted stock rear lights and fender, cut off old bracket and added LEDs.

Could you point out what tools you needed for your fender delete and any resources you recommend for it? What you did to your bike is drool-inducing.

What does dropping the fork tubes accomplish?

It gives you a "touch" more rake so as to shade from quickest steering to a more steady configuration for sweepers, etc. I have mine flush. NOTE: the top of the triple tree is sculpted so there should still be a little visible on one section of the circle. It will be obvious once you really look.

Installed a Givi top case. I'm really conflicted about it because I don't love the look but the practicality can't be argued with. At least it's easy to remove for times when I don't need cargo capacity or a place to stash my helmet and gloves.
