Somebody wrote that ideal looks viscosity at 40°C, 22up25, for me looks Repsol 5W, I will try it...
Did you find some normal price of fork sealing? Its more expensive that Japanese bikes...

I use Motul Fork Oil SAE 15W.

Frankly next time I will use even thicker grade like 20W.

With it the fork is a little less a pair of "bicycle pumps" 

It's French motorcycle slang literately translated (meaning very weak damping). I don't know if there is an English slang equivalent ?

Maybe? That could explain why i've not seen 2W anywhere around. Could be some unknown standard? UFO = Unidentifiable Fork Oil.

I just checked the Haynes manual (copy/paste) :

Continental GT : SAE 10, 15 or 20 fork oil (2W-35 Gabriel fork oil - manufacturer's recommendation)

Viscosity 36 CSt @ 40°C.

So it is similar to Motul Fork Oil Expert – medium = 10W, Bel-Ray High Performance Fork Oil 10 W, Castrol Fork Oil 10, Shell Advance Fork 10

The service and owner's manual for my B5 says to use 10W-30 motor oil. To me fork oil doesn't seem like it really needs multi-viscosity oil. 

BTW, my 2002 Yamaha FZ1 uses "0" weight fork oil.  That was a new one on me. It looked to be about the same viscosity as water. The first time it was changed at 18K miles the lubricant (I won't call it oil) was really black and dirty.

Fork producers like Showa normally prescribed motor oil like 10w30 ass oil filling for front forks.
I'm not sure how it looks at competition bikes, but for soft enduro, naked and classic it were usual..

Yamaha hasn't made things easier by hiding their fork oil weights. The sell it by the can.
