Give me some ideas.At the most elemental starting point, you need a 7/8 inch "plug" for the mirror to grasp. Hollow or aluminum to regard weight. Then you need a way to fasten the plug to the hand guard band, either inside or outside, depending on your choice. You need to make sure that this plug won't rotate from wind and vibration.
You don't say if you have already bought any of the components ...
You don't say how important the overall width is to you ... If it doesn't matter you could simply use a longer bolt going into the handlebar and a washer.
