In my search for bar-end mirrors, I came across these.
http://nfieldgear.com/enfield-store/e-z-mirror.html
Nowhere does it say they wrap a strap of velcro around the bar-end. The housing itself is a thin piece of stamped tin. I may use these on my bicycle but there is NO WAY these are going on my RE. They can't get tight enough to grab the weight. Nfieldgear should be ashamed.
My search continues.

Almost every part I've received from nfield has been totally sub par and actually required modification to get it working/fitting my c5. It is really pathetic.
I bought their version of napoleon bar end mirrors and they were atrocious. I couldnt see anything, they vibrated badly, and the optics were terrible. I ended up with REAL napoleon mirrors and i've been happy with them.

Thanks Sub. It looks like Napoleon is out of business. Still searching.

Oh that sucks.. maybe you can find them on ebay.. Call classic British bike shops.. maybe they have some on the shelves. :)

I ordered some Napoleons from this place about a month ago and got them quickly:
Chrome - http://www.bikebandit.com/product/A4044637
Black - http://www.bikebandit.com/product/A4044636
Hope that helps, they are great mirrors, but you'll have to mod the mounting part a bit to get them on, and get a couple 70-75mm m8/1.25 bolts if you want to mount them with the weights.

Definitely mount them with the weights. The blur and the bars get very buzzy without that. I'm even thinking of filling the bars with silicone caulk for a little extra comfort.
Nice price at bike Bandit too!

Note thats a price each, you gotta order 2 ;) Still, I felt like from most of the post I've seen, people seemed to pay in the range of $60-80 for a pair, depending on where and when they got em.

Thank. I tried eBay again. We'll see how that works.

Just so ya know, i have seen them at my local Yamaha dealer for like $16. Might give you a shot to give it a test without the wait and extra cost etc. They are actually marked as bar end mirrors for snowmobiles. On a side note, i tried the imitation Napoleons also and returned as the quality seemed horrible. Even after tightening the mirror i still had some play and they would pivot up and down a bit. Didn't like the bar end view in the end anyway so i went with the chrome OEM replacement mirrors. They look nice but aren't as tall as the stockers so the view is cut slightly but still doable. I have had some good luck with some items but some have been awful and i returned them right away. Sucks as everything i have ordered for my other bikes has been great and i never returned so much stuff in a short time let alone ever really!

They strap onto the rubber grip. Great on the throttle side! ??? Snowmobiles have a trigger type throttle don't they? That would explain that. Is there that much traffic in minnesota in winter that they need mirrors?

I can get bar end mirrors in black. 3 styles.
Google image "Ken Sean bar end mirrors"
let me know.

Those are either the lower quality ones or the Chinese knock offs, which aren't bad but are too modern for my tastes. CRGs can go for $80-100 each. As someone who owns Napoleaons, you get a lot for that price.

Here are the 3 bar end mirrors that are in stock. Black only, they are EMGO or Ken Sean re-pops of the old classics that you cant get anymore. Made in china or taiwan or ?
I happen to think they DO look old school. Pricing is between 18.00 and 24.00 each.

I have the Ken Sean round bar ends on mine and they work very well. The rubber bushing reduced vibrations immensely. Best money I had spent on bar end mirrors. Had the ones from the store and some no names from Ebay prior to these. Much better all around.
-
I'd love to get the round ones in chrome. The only ones I've seen are Halcyon from the UK and they're about $80 each. Yikes!

Chrome don't get ya home! :)

Yeah, and the view isn't as good as the shape of the Napoleons for seeing what's behind you but I think they'd look right with the bike.

Waiting for the ebay specials. If they aren't here tomorrow, I'll see what you have on Tuesday. I'll bring the nfieldgear ones. You can see what they are.
