Good evening. So, I purchased a Dna filter and open retaining plate for an E5 Interceptor before reading it might trigger a warning light or limp mode. Well I fitted it today, let it idle for ten minutes, though that is likely not necessary, and took it for a good ride. So far no issues, I think acceleration is smoother and the induction noise is great which helps cover up that sewing machine noise that I was not a fan of. Apologies if someone has already debunked the E5 with Dna filter issue. G

Interesting, I wasn't aware of a DNA filter and E5 issue.  I've been running mind for a while with the DNA filter, and Powerage silencers - with no issues.  Sounds lovely too.

I do have a set of Stratos Pipes I might also bung on in the future.

Richard.

On my E4 there was no drama at all. I think you can get 99% of the benefit of the DNA filter by hole-sawing the existing filter cover, but my son just had to have it.

I just installed the exact same DNA package in my Interceptor 3 days ago and my reaction was the exact same as yours. Plenty of swears, smiles and giggles as I did a lap of my block.
