It resembles some Museum of Motorcycles exhibit, it's so pretty. I've noticed with my '05 "Military" that some ancillary parts of my green-coated engine are much less harder wearing than others. So, when the gearbox inspection and original finned pushrod tappets adjustment cover (since replaced with one of those Hitchcocks see-through ones) started flaking, I just buffed the remainder of the green off, leaving a pleasant and shiny enough alloy that I think looks "nice" and complements the general appearance...but not to that "breathtaking" extent of your work.
