took the yamadoodle out to the usual places, the pond is low, the train station is still there, so is the gingerbread victorian home. came back via the back side of the park, where there's a "no motor vehicles" sign on one side, nothing on the other. so i went the path less taken. i'm sure some of you guys would've just hopped over this last bit, i'm thinking maybe bring the chainsaw next time.

Purtty country!  I dunno about hopping over that tree, but that new featherweight Yamabanger will certainly succumb to my traditional "lift 'n drag" trail technique. :o ;D If you can embed the footpeg lug securely into the trunk, sometimes you can just rotate the machine over... 8)

and now, the himalayan, pretty much the same route. the himmy has the feel of a bigger bike, more of a road bike, but lacks the power to back up the claim. still questing for that grail, i guess.

@ #21: It's Titanium fur cryin' out loud!! Edge, smedge. The important thing is that you are the only kid on the block with one. A lot like that $520 seat. Now for that Vibranium shield... :o ::)

https://emersonknives.com/kb/how-can-you-use-titanium-for-a-knife-blade/
Titanium is not a usual material for a knife blade. It is not hard like knife steel and will not hold an edge. However, Titanium does possess some outstanding properties that steel does not. Titanium is virtually unbreakable. It is extremely lightweight with a superior strength to weight ratio, that is better than steel. Titanium is inert and virtually impervious to any corrosive medium. It will never rust, ever. It is non-magnetic and will not cause a static spark. Titanium is extremely tough, durable and hard to work with.
In order to turn Titanium into a suitable knife material, Emerson Knives uses a unique and proprietary process. We grind the blades to finish shape and configuration (they must be ground by hand, one at a time). We then bond a layer of tantalum carbide micro- crystals onto the backside of the cutting edge. These crystals are ultra hard and sharp, acting as thousands of tiny saw teeth along the edge. These knives will not shave the hair off of your arm, but they will out cut and out last the steel edge of any knife that exists.

then again, some of chopping is due to the inertia the weight of steel gives. titanium, not so much. looks more like a status symbol to me.

You don't use an axe like that. You mount it on your living room wall.   ;)

The Trail Saver was developed to be the best ax in the world. It is 3D printed from grade 23 titanium, an alloy popular in aerospace and medical applications due to its incredible mechanical properties and purity. It was developed to be a Christmas gift for the Stark team, but we decided to make a limited edition of 1000 pieces

No specs (red alert - whoop-whoop-whoop) so I'm guessing this is maybe 10"-12" long and about 6-8 ounces. Definitely falls in the See-Pretty-fur-doodz category. Something Gates or Musk might hand out at Xmas to his worthier minions. But still cool to trot out when the compadres drop by for a beer.

Looks like someone has a future with Parks & Recreation! At least wrangle a free pass out of them. Nicely done, and a fine looking trailbike you have there too.
