I finally got to go for a good ride this morning, the first one since I put the upswept exhaust on. I'm really impressed with the peformance change, the shorty I had on was a good step up from stock, and the upswept is a good step up from the shorty. C'mon Spring! :D

Congrats on the upsewpt. Is it really that much performance difference from stock or just the louder thump which makes you feel faster/smoother?
-
It's a definite improvement, I have no way to tell how much (Dyno) but it accelerates quicker and feels a lot happier at 65, I still cruise at 55-60 though. I was after the look more than the performance aspect but I'm very happy with both.

Did you changed the down pipe to fit the upswept or it got right on the stock pipe?
-
The new muffler works perfectly with the stock down pipe.

Very, very cool, Br. Dannie... I like the REd initials on the covers, as well as the upswept muffler look... you, in addition, can appreciate what the rest of us cannot... the performance improvements... HELLUVA GOOD DEAL and WOWZAA, BABY!!!

Just a question that's probably been covered elsewhere, is there any other changes ie efi mapping, airbox etc required when changing to what I'm assuming is a more open exhaust
Cheers
:)

It's plug and play, no other changes are needed. Cool eh?

Thanks for that, I wasn't sure what was involved. Only an idea at this time.
Cheers :)
