i've replaced the derailleur, still needs fine-tuning but the trike works much better now. will look at e-biking bits over the next couple of days.

What's it like to ride around on? Reasonably stable?
A trifecta of Pre-Unit Bullets: a Red Deluxe 500, a Green Standard 500, and a Black ES 350.

so far it feels awkward, but that's a matter of familiarization, which should happen after the next couple of rainy days. so far it feels heavy (at 45 lbs not surprising) and slow to climb hills, which might be because you can't stand on the pedals and use your weight like you can on a normal upright bike. a motor would fix that i expect.

I saw that there's 10hp electric motorcycle kits available from China, I wonder how that would feel in a recumbent bicycle ... anyway, I hope to see photos when you go electric, it's an interesting project :)
