I pass a lot of time watching motorcycle videos, MotoStars etc.
I notice that many of the FPV videos shot in sport bikes show the mirrirs folded in facing each other.
 Why?

My experience doing that was on enduro / dualsport bikes was to keep branches from killing  my mirrors.

A trifecta of Pre-Unit Bullets: a Red Deluxe 500, a Green Standard 500, and a Black ES 350.

Obviously they are functioning as vortilon vortex generators for drag reduction... ;D ;D ;D

Most motorcycle screens in my experience seem to me to create an unpleasant vortex effect !
