Title: clutch lever replacement
Post by: jonapplegate on December 10, 2007, 06:17:03 am
I have to replace my clutch handle. Neighbor backed into my bike and just kept backing up. Amazingly the only damage was a severely bent footrest and bent clutch lever. Any sage advice for me about changing the lever out? Thanks.

Get the cable as slack as possible by adjusting at both ends and it will be a piece of cake.  It would be a good time to check and lube the cable if you haven't done that recently.  I suspect the lever will cost more than you think.

Also, beat the neighbor with the broken handle. :)
