Just to be clear, is your attachment the old schedule or the revised one, as it still shows valve inspect and adjust at 500 km?

Apologies for any confusion.

The screenshot is from the older version of the service manual, detailing an inspection and adjustment procedure for the inlet and exhaust valve clearance at 500kms.

The latest updates is communicated in the YouTube video link included in the post. It features an interview with the Service Manager at an authorized RE Service Center, providing the most recent information.

This is exactly what I noticed after I changed from stock Ceats to Michelin Road Classics.
Or rather, the lack of sliding.
In corners, the rear (Michelin) felt glued to the road, compared to the Ceat.
Exactly my experience.
In hindsight, every km spend on the Ceats was one too many.

Thanks for chiming in.  That pretty much solidifies it for me.  I’ll upgrade the rubber.

i'm not finding either side in this dispute very believable. it's a terrible shame that people continue to die while these counter-accusations are flying.

Neither side occupy the moral high ground.  Dirty deeds on both sides.

US foreign policy however is not based on who is in the right. it is entirely based on who contributes the most to Super Pacs and Republican/Democrat campaign funding.

The Givi bag support I got are great.

Bags come off and back on again with the turn of a key and the lockable security is nice when away from home !

My Interceptor makes the same pop a few seconds after shutting down the engine.

650 Interceptor & Continental GT / Re: Replacement Battery.
« Last Post by El Saif on Today at 02:48:57 am »
The RE Owner's Manual lists the OEM battery as 12V - 12Ah VRLA.

Surprisingly for a budget bike, the OEM battery is a type of AGM battery - more of a premium battery than I expected.

My other RE bike, a 2004 Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350cc kick start only has only a basic non AGM lead acid battery. Obviously, on a kick start only bike, a good battery is less critical.

Hey all…
...
What has me weirded out is my back tire sometimes feels like it’s sliding out slightly when I accelerate out of a turn.
