For Corona / lock down reasons, I screw more than I drive, at least at these times ;)

That's why I thought it would be a good idea to collect all the things that have been built into or attached to our REH‘s...

I would be pleased if as many interesting contributions as possible were presented.
It would be nice if everyone could tell us briefly whether mounting was easy, what it cost and maybe post a picture.
Then the lockdown would certainly pass more quickly....

I'll start here introducing my heated grips:
Since I get cold hands quickly, heated grips are an absolute must for me.
I wanted ones that didn't look like they had been retrofitted.

But: With many of them, the clunky switch bothers me.

I finally found some at Louis, namely the ones from Koso. They cost about 60 euros, fit well and are easy to install.  The switch is delicate and doesn't stand out.

I have added some pictures, grips, mounted already day look and night Look (full power)

They heat very well, at lower speed you have to turn them down.

Power rating: Level 1: 17 Watt, Level 2: 21 Watt, Level 3: 24 Watt, Level 4: 27 Watt, Level 5: 30 Watt.
Switches off automatically at a voltage below 11,5 Volts.

I am very happy with them. Yesterday, at about only +2 degrees Celsius it was very comfortable  ;D

Regards
Toni

Another accessory I have added: A voltmeter.

What I miss in the instrument cluster of the Himalayan is a display of the on-board voltage.
A healthy energy budget is a good prerequisite to avoid surprises.

So I was looking for a digital voltmeter that is as small as possible and can be installed in such a way that it does not interfere and does not waste space. It also had to match the look of the REH display unit.

I found a small round instrument for a few Euros, hole diameter 28 mm, front diameter 37 mm, with a white 3-digit LCD display (one decimal digit). See picture.

I bent a small metal sheet for it and made good use of the space to the right of the REH display.
See picture.

Even in the dark, the view fits well with the existing layout. See picture.

This way I always have control, while driving the voltage is about 14.4 volts.

Best regards

Toni

Hello 9fingers,
Thank a lot, appreciate your comment.

I just hoped, that anybody else would also post some mods...

It is always inspiring to see what others do.
