Brake calliper pistons are 2 x 14mm?

I would think more like 2 x 28

Are you thinking of the brake master cylinder?

If you own a vernier caliper simply measure it.

The master cylinder usually has the bore size stamped on it.

A ruler would likely be more than adequate unless they are using some goofy size like 29.37 millimeters. I've never seen anything like that.

Took mine apart and piston size as measured is 30/32
