Title: Questions for the I.T. guys and gals.

Is server space expensive to rent ?

 Is it difficult to set up a system that will send notifications to members email or cell phone that a new post has been posted in a particular thread or forward a site message ?

 Reason I ask is there is always something going on in the Pacific Northwest and a lot of people miss out because they didn't get the word or didn't get it in time.

Since the Pacific NW riders seem to post events in the Washing Riders thread, why not click the "Notify" button on the bottom of the last post in it?  Then set your phone to notify you of new email.

There are settings in the user's "Profile" for this forum that give versatility to the notifications as well.
