Did the 3000 mile check on the tappets yesterday - last one was at 12000 now at 15000.

For the second time in a row they are still spot on, makes me wonder whether I should stop looking at them every 3000 and do it at 6000 / every oil change.

Second thoughts, probably best not.

Yep - It does seem to be a bit excessive when you consider that the 650 models only call for it every 10000Km. I wonder why the difference?
