I just purchased what i believe to be 1960's enfields where can i get information on frame numbers and engine numbers

frame 1 #6199
frame 2 #16593
frame 3 #3199
frame 4 #11746
engine 1 # 3199
engine 2 # 4851

any information would be greatly appreciated like years or location they were made

In Davis Blasco's weekly blog RoyalEnfields.com he lists a link to Graham Scarth, the current chairman of the Royal Enfields Owners Club. Graham kindly assisted me with ID'ing my
two Indian built Bullets place of birth (Chennai/Madras) and was invaluable in tracing the origin of my 1956 250cc Fire Arrow. The info in on Davids blog post, see the link. - ACR -

I'm guessing the first one is a 250 Clipper, second is something 250 Crusader based and the last one looks like it's a 700 Meteor, though that's for stuff sold in the UK. If it these were in bikes marketed under the Indian name in the USA (with different model names), you might find some details here. The 250 Clipper was thus marketed as the Fire Arrow and the Hounds Arrow, for example.
