Hello All,

The other day I was out on the road and noticed my battery hanging on for dear life as after I hit a pot hole on the road, I lost my battery cover. Unfortunately, I was unable to recover the battery cover box and am in the process of trying to find a new one for my C500 in Battle Green.

In the meantime, I am trying to improvise a battery cover to use in the interim and wanted to ask for some community advice and guidance on perhaps what I could use to cover up the battery. Currently, the bike aesthetically just looks completely naked without the battery cover. I would also like to continue riding for the remainder of the season until I can find a replacement battery cover.

As a question, is it unsafe to ride the bike without a battery cover? Is it unsfe for the battery to be exposed to the elemants? Please advise on this note as well.

Thank you very much for any and all insight you could provide!

You can use the rubber strap to hold it on. Or, try something with bungee cords.
