Is there anywhere in the US that sells the fuel pumps for these bikes? All I see is India and China. One seller says they are out of stock.

Suzuki RMX450 fuel pump fits perfectly in the early Classic 500s and the GT535s - about $35 on eBay. Worked better for me than a similar Quantum pump for RE, but either one has all the parts for swapping out the pump, seals and internal fuel filter. Hope this helps.

2014 Continental GT 535 - Red...lowest VIN off the first boat!

So assuming you switched yours out, did you use the new wires? Reason I ask is because at the bottom where they are plugged into the connector and frame of the fuel pump body I'm not sure if they are soldered in or just a female connection like the wires in all the pictures show. I pulled on them pretty hard and they did not come out which made me think they are soldered and if they are I wouldn't be able to replace them.

I only used the new pump motor, o-rings and filter. I retained all the original wiring and connectors. You need to open the screws and separate the plastic cover from the metal plate and will see where the wires attach.  Please don’t pull hard on anything otherwise you may end up having to buy an entire new unit. Thanks.

Got the fuel pump in and now it primes woo hoo! Unfortunately, that's where the good news stops. Bike still wont run, I traced the problem to the bike not getting fuel, injector working fine, but the fuel pump just isn't pumping out fuel. What in the world would cause that? It primes but doesn't pump? Hose not kinked, and the I blew through the attachment on the actual fuel pump assembly so that's not clogged either. What makes the fuel pump pump, the starter? The throttle?

I feel like I'm always just here talking out loud fixing my own problems =P for anyone who may be having the same problem, make sure you have the positive and negative cables attached to the right connectors on the fuel pump, if they are backwards, the pump will still prime for whatever reason but will not pump :p THE MORE YOU KNOW lol
