I did stop in at my dealership last week, and sat on the bikes again.....I had tried them at the NYC bike show........and though I love the look of that white GT, at 61 I am more comfortable on the Interceptor. But I did think about getting a GT and moving the footpegs 2" forward and raising the bars a couple of inches.......that would do it for me. But the rear brake is attached to the peg assembly so not as simple as it seems. BTW, they told me that they were not sent any keys with the bikes, which is really odd. But my buddy in FL has a dealer who claims the 650s have not yet received emissions cert., so that could be the delay.
