A new video. We're in lockdown here so no riding, which makes it hard to record new material, so I dug something out of the archives.

Thanks oldm8.
I see you had no screen on that run.
Was that before your Eagle shorty arrived?

Thanks.

This ride was part of the testing to see if removing the screen was worth it. I ordered the shorty (100mm) soon after.

The popping and banging was there, you just couldn't hear it very well because the stock pipe was so quiet in the video.

About 8 months ago, I made a video about my Himalayan, Gimli's Axe. Since then, of course, things have changed, so here I present a more up to date video of the bike itself, bearing in mind that the sidecar had it's own video a couple of weeks ago.
So here she is. Gimli's Axe. Older and wiser.

This video shows my first ride with the Sidecar into the Adelaide Hills. I'd only had it for about a month so was very green, but that will become obvious.
If you stay through to the end, you'll notice a clunk and a jerk as I'm parking. No, I didn't hit the car next to me, the dust cover came off my sidecar axle and that clunk was the sidecar running over it.

My latest video. Not a riding video as such, more a location piece, this time out at St Kilda, South Australia and the adventure playground.
Sorry for the bug on the camera lens, I didn't notice that until I got home.

Here I present my first commute with the sidecar. I'd done it often enough on the solo of course, but this was the first with the sidecar. If you think I sound cool, calm and collected, you're wrong. I was terrificated... but that's also why I did this during school holidays when the traffic really is very light.
For those who don't know Adelaide, this is the main North South corridor and in normal times, is chocka block full of traffic - much of this route is stop start traffic.
But I survived my first commute, got home safely, and have done it again since. Another step forward in my development as a sidecar pilot.
