Wondering if anyone has ever experienced the LCD odometer suddenly racking up crazy mileage My bike has about 500k on it. After a 15 minute ride the odometer reads over 800km!

Uh no. Regardless of KPH or MPH trip or regular. The odometer is racking up hundreds of KPH in minutes of riding.

Mine did the opposite, turned 4000 and jumped back to 3000. It's not been ridden much since but I'm wondering if it'll do it again.

At 720 MPH that's quite the Bonneville grade machine! Tyres must be a serious concern....
( 300 Km / 15 Min )
My mechanical speedo appears to be temperature dependent, it's speed varies maybe 20% depending on air temp. I suppose there's some high dollar solution out there though, there's usually is a way to spend more money.

I just happened to check my 2011 Bullet's mechanical speedometer yesterday against one of those speed check devices. When the bike's speedometer said I was doing 35 mph, the speed check display read 30 mph. So Royal Enfield speedometers do tend to be a bit inaccurate, but your odometer probably takes the cake.
