It appears I have a Brembo brake caliper on my 2008 AVL (PO converted front drum to disc brake). I read that RE switched over to Brembo starting 2015-2016.

Some differences from the Pricol caliper:
- doesn't have "Pricol" printed on it
- pads uses a single floating pin
- same brake pads as the Himalayan

I measured the caliper piston diameter to be 26.5mm, but that seems low (I was expecting 28mm).
- Does anyone know the piston size for the Brembo caliper ?

I also measured master cylinder bore size to be 12.7mm (ie. 1/2").
- Does this match the master cyl bore size for the 2016 model bullets ?

The reason for the measurements is to calculate the ratio of master cyl to secondary (https://www.vintagebrake.com/mastercylinder.htm).

I also have (expected) 280mm size rotor.

I can't visualize why Brembo would sell a caliper without their name on it.
RI USA '08 Black AVL Classic.9.8:1 ACEhead/manifold/canister. TM32/Open bottle/hot tube removed. Pertronix Coil. Fed mandates removed. Gr.TCI. Bobber seat. Battery in right side case. Decomp&all doodads removed. '30s Lucas taillight/7" visored headlight. Much blackout & wire/electrical upgrades.

The master cylinder has "bybre" logo, which is a brembo offbrand for scooters.
