Wouldn't a helmet attached to that lock touch the hot ?muffler

That was the exact reason I sent back the license-plate helmet lock that had such high reviews on Amazon (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002F85VQS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

It was a really elegant solution that alas was not made for our upswept pipes. Now I have a carabiner lock. Cheap but effective for short-term walks away from the bike.

You could probably just sling the helmet back over the seat? I was just thinking that it looked pretty flash😁

If you fitted the TEC 2-1 you could put that fancy helmet lock on the side without the silencer ;D.
Just sayin'.

I saw it on YouTube for the first time last night. I don’t care about the claimed power increase I just like the way it looks 8)

Yes it does, but I’ve got this anal thing about symmetry!

That 2-1 does look pretty sweet and it’s not overly expensive either. You may see a low klm AEW system up for sale soon. 😉

I agree. It is reasonably priced. I am not in a hurry to change the pipes but after seeing that it removes all the bs in the headers I am leaning that way. I also noticed it does turn blue because of the heat and it not being double walled.

Me too.
Now there is a thread for this and it sounds like they are making a standard set up 2-2, just like what is on the bike now :P

Relays under left side cover can use Narva 68070BL 5 pin relay or Tridon TR039. Top left Main relay top right starter relay bottom left accessory relay and bottom right fuel pump relay.  Just from taken posts elsewhere, not actually required to try out any of it yet. I do have some Narva relays as spares under the seat now.

Excellent, thanks.
This is the kind of information is very helpful because our bikes are not (yet) listed in auto part stores cross reference data. Having those two brands and model numbers lights up many other compatible relays.
I've made a list and taped it into my owner's manual (which I carry on board).

Yes, take care of the imbalance because of the lack of weight on the opposite side of the bike. Maybe an idea to get that helmet lock there and use it for a permanent pillion helmet? Or an extra can of gas? ;-)

Grabbed this from another thread:
Just in case you break a wire, this part fits our bikes perfectly. And much cheaper than the Royal Enfield part.
$34 vs $116
Same p/n, engine light cleared after about 20 miles easy riding.
