Here's one for Rotorwrench,ERC,Carlo, and Tom 60 Chief...will a gasket set for 1959-1963 Constellation work for my 1959 Chief?Same engine,as far as I can tell...thanks to anyone who can clear this one up...

I believe they are the same gasket set. Well, at least I put the gasket set that came with my Chief on my Trailblazer. Not sure what size bore you have, but make sure the head gaskets match your bore or you'll have piston clearance issues.

Hi bh63,
The Chief motor is a Super Meteor motor, so the question is will a gasket set from a Constellation fit a Super Meteor motor? My guess, and that is all it is, is it will be compatible in most places but may not be correct everywhere.

To the best of my knowledge the only difference was camshafts and gearing.

The gasket set will fit all 700 twins. You'll need the right seal set for your motor. The old ones use felt seals. The Chief uses rubber seals. ERC
