I think it wouldn't be too hard because I was reading somewhere that the 612 have close to 135 psi compression power. In AVLs we have close to 155s and 160s which is hard but do-able. I think 130psi won't be that big of a problem :)

wondering if to go as big as I can...612..or with 535..which seems popular....
Just wanted a lityle more fun...and to keep better pace during eve traffic...
Got 2001..4speed jobber...milit setup....crash bars etc...gonna rig with large top box over rear so I can lug my stupid massive laptop workstation with me...(mech eng...you know...)....
Just 8 mile commute to work...east tenn ...and enjoy country side...mountains on occasion...

If you actually know how to kick start a thumper, and the timing is set up right, the compression shouldn't be much of an issue.

The 612 is a tried and tested kit, BUT, you have got to know how to tune it. The 535 kit from Ace.Cafe is what I have. ACE provides excellent support for the users of the kit, and is constantly working on improving performance and reliability. It is equivalent in performance and costs less than the 612 kit.
