Title: Routing New Cable...
Post by: Kevin Mahoney on October 15, 2007, 05:03:30 am
The job can be a bit irksome when it comes to routing the new cable, but this worked for me. After detaching both ends of the broken cable, I tied the transmission end of the old cable to the clutch lever end of the new with a bit of wire, then taped the join with electrician’s tape to make a smooth transition. From there it was relatively simple to pull the new wire through all the ties and nooks and crannies.

Who wants to take a fuel tank off anyway? (No kiddig)
